Workshop: Combatting Oppressive Systems in Organizing

Date:
Mon, Mar 20, 2017 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

City:

While fighting for a more just, inclusive and equitable world it is all too often that the oppressive structures we face are replicated in our own change-making spaces.

This training is specifically for organizers to reflect on how movements and organizations in the past and in present have been/are perpetuating the same oppressive structures they intend to organize against. From there participants will learn how to prevent these issues from continuing.
