Jason Morgan, District 8 Commissioner of Washtenaw County is introducing a resoluton that will direct county staff to fly the Transgender Pride Flag on Friday, March 31st, which is recognized as "Trangender Day of Visibility". We were able to get this passed in Ypsilanti at the city council meeting and would like to continue across other communities. We invite EVERYONE to come out to voice your support and stand in solidarity for this important resolution.

Washtenaw County to vote on the odorization of the NEXUS pipelin

At the last meeting, the voting for the odorization of the NEXUS pipeline was tabled. NEXUS has filed for a waiver of the federal regulation. It is supposed to be discussed at the next meeting. REMINDER: Washtenaw County has passed a resolution to not allow NEXUS in our county, but FERC will most likely vote against us, as that is what they usually do. Please all that can attend!! NEXUS is coming and we must support our local Government as they try to protect us.
