On Thursday, June 1st, Randolph Davison, a 48-year old African American man, was viciously beaten and stabbed by two white men shouting using racial slurs. The attack occurred midday in Detroit's Eastern Market while Davison sat on a bench at the corner of Russell and Alfred streets.
Luckily, Davison survived. However, the attack is another example of the rising tide of white supremacist terror in the United States, and a case of unprovoked violence against the homeless.
