Water Affordability Funk (fun + work) Day!

Date:
Wed, Nov 16, 2016 - 10:00am to 1:30pm

City:

Water is not affordable to nearly half of Detroit residents, causing mass water shut offs. The city's water assistance plan does not work either, this is why we need an income-based Water Affordability Plan. We have been petitioning and canvassing at water payment centers in District 3 and District 7.

We are so thankful for everyone's help, now it's time to have some FUN while we work. On Wednesday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. We'll be providing pizza, movement-music, and crafts for water affordability swag!

Location:
Food & Water Watch 2727 2nd ave, ste 136, Detroit

Date:
Fri, Jan 20, 2017 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Okay guys. Trump has specifically targeted the LGBTQ community, POC, the Muslim community, those with disabilities, women, and our environment. If we're going to have a serious protest, we need to get more people involved. Invite whoever you know that is as opposed to this man as you are. This will be a PEACEFUL protest in Detroit, the day Trump gets inaugurated. We need to get so many people involved that we can't be ignored! Our voices have to be so loud, they can't drown us out!

Peaceful protest on Inauguration Day.
Meeting, time and place tbd.
