Brooks Patterson and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel are still holding out against putting a proposal for regional transit on the ballot in 2018. Patterson is reportedly refusing to support a proposal unless individual cities are allowed to "opt out" - the same senseless provision that has made Swiss cheese out of the SMART bus system.

Detroit Monthly Branch Meeting

The Detroit General Membership Branch Monthly Meeting will be held on January 24th 2018 from 7:00 PM ET to 8:30 PM ET, with dues collection beginning at 6:30 PM ET.
