Shut Down Line 5 - Grass Roots Advocacy Night

Come out to write to your State Representatives and Senators to encourage them to support the shut down of Line 5. Line 5 is an aging oil pipeline that runs through the Great Lakes, just west of the Mackinaw Bridge, which if broken, would contaminate 84% of North America's fresh water, and 21% of the world's fresh water. Paper, envelopes, and stamps will be provided, along with snacks! See you there.

With an introduction by Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon and Amanda Dolinski of the Progressive Democrats of America as M.C., the evening is sure to be enlightening. We will even have volunteers on site to register you with the Michigan Democratic Party.

Young Democrats of Lansing - Meeting & Executive Board Elections
