Immediately after Trump was elected, congressional staffers put together the Indivisible Guide (www.indivisibleguide.com) to increase citizen engagement around issues of equity, inclusion, and transparency. On November 17, 2017 the Grand Rapids Business Journal published an open letter from Sandra Gaddy of the Women’s Resource Center, Charisse Mitchell of the YWCA, and Diana Sieger of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation that invited the Grand Rapids community “to engage with one another and chart a new way forward” with the goal of ending sexual harassment and sexual aggression in all its forms.
