Greater Grand Rapids Racial Equity Network Meeting

We will be shifting our focus to become a network for internal dialogue and support that is led both by and for People of Color in Greater Grand Rapids, with attention to supporting individuals on an interpersonal level.

The Greater Grand Rapids Racial Equity Network (GGRREN) is a network of individuals that centers People of Color and is organized to promote, produce, and support action that advances racial equity.

Create the Grand Rapids Unit's 2018 Calendar of Activities

Grab a dish to pass and join our leadership team at Mary Blauw's Eastown neighborhood home (message us for the address when you RSVP) for a potluck and to make concrete plans for what nonpartisan activities to engage in and when during 2018. Some of the options include marching in the Hollyhock Lane Parade on the 4th of July, conducting voter registration, participating in Get Out the Vote efforts, and poll watching. If you can't make it, drop us a note and make sure we know what your specific interests are!

A Season For Solidarity!

This holiday season, support incarcerated folks by joining us for Season of Solidarity!

This is an event to bring light to issues and love to targeted and incarcerated people including activists, LGBT prisoners and survivor/victims of domestic violence, especially those of color. You will also have a chance to meet and share with members of the community, eat great food and get educated on mass incarceration.

There will be letter writing tables, merch, arts n' crafts, teach ins, zines and other informational materials to take home and food!
