Families Belong Together - Holland area rally and march in opposition to US government policy separating undocumented and asylum-seeking parents and children - Saturday, June 30 at 11am at Centennial Park. The current administration has been cruelly separating children from their families, and even with the recent executive order, have no plans to reunite these families, and maintain a policy of detaining asylum seekers and others entering the country indefinitely.

The ACLU of Michigan in collaboration with Michigan Council on Crime and Delinquency (MCCD) and Michigan League of Public Policy (MLPP) are advocating for legislation to raise the age of juvenile jurisdiction from 17 to 18 and remove all youth under the age of 18 from adult correctional facilities and relocate them to facilities which can adequately serve their developmental needs.
