Free Brake Light Clinic

Racial Equity Ordinance Feedback Session

This ordinance was presented to the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners on June 7 with the hopes of a vote to pass this upcoming August 8. Commissioner Felicia Brabec and Racial Equity Analyst Anna Lemler will present background information and progress on the "One Community: Advancing Racial Equity in Washtenaw County" initiative in addition to the ordinance.

Voters Not Politicians is a grassroots, volunteer-driven campaign working to end partisan gerrymandering, where politicians choose their voters behind closed doors to give themselves unfair advantages.

Our solution will amend Michigan’s Constitution to create a fair, impartial, and transparent process for drawing our election maps. We are recruiting a team of 10,000+ volunteers who will help us spread the word about the proposal in their communities, and we need your help!

Join us and the Sister District Project -M12 for a calling party in support of Winnie Brinks (MI D 29th!) Veterans can jump right in and those looking to learn and get some support and training can get their feet wet in a friendly supportive environment. We'll have dinner and socializing at 6:30, then start making calls at 7. You don't need to bring anything but yourself (and maybe a friend?)
