This fall, the Michigan Student Power Network will be holding another summit, where we invite you to a statewide gathering of student organizers, activists, and radicals: bringing together the many strands of organizing in Michigan. Connect with, share with, and learn from some of the amazing organizers around the state!

We are currently living in a time of political upheaval that many people are attributing to a current administration, and pushing us towards voting only. However, we know that structural and pervasive white supremacy, heteropatriarchy and capitalism are at fault: and voting is only one tool in dismantling these systems. In choosing to focus on transforming ourselves and our futures, we understand that our options are community and education.

The last few years have seen an upsurge in new people who are joining our fight. We also want to make sure to honor the work of those who have been at the frontlines. Come to the summit on October 19th and 20th to add to the collective power that is building throughout this state! Together, we will win.
