Carbon Neutrality Town Hall

Date:
Sat, Feb 22, 2020 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm

City:

Last November, Ann Arbor City Council passed a climate emergency declaration & set a goal for the entire community to achieve carbon neutrality by the year 2030. What does this declaration mean? What can you as an Ann Arbor resident do to help achieve this goal? Come to a town hall meeting Saturday Feb. 22, noon-5 p.m., at Pioneer High School for a series of talks to explore what Ann Arbor can do to become a carbon neutral community. We’ll also gather ideas from all who attend. There will be an activity room for kids, a showing of the movie Paris to Pittsburgh & you can purchase a bite to eat from onsite food trucks while you digest all the information. Please join us to learn more about this important effort & also to cast your vote for ideas you think the city should pursue.
