The Public Education Working Group will be organizing a panel with New York-based author Eric Blanc, author of "Red State Revolt: The Teachers’ Strike Wave and Working-Class Politics," Jamila Martin, of 482 Forward, who will talk about equitable funding for public schools, Jason Hackney on the charter/privatization complex in Michigan, and Hussein Beydoun of Detroit DSA and MI Ed Justice who will address the role of standardized testing in privatization.

We will also be voting on endorsements in upcoming municipal races.

The meeting is open to non-members and visitors, but only members can vote.
