Michigan Equal Pay Lobby Day 2019

Wed, May 22, 2019 - 9:30am to 3:30pm

Please join the Michigan Equal Pay Coalition for the 2019 Equal Pay Lobby Day!

Governor Whitmer, state legislators, a representative from U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin’s office, and others will be featured presenters to give us updates on state and federal efforts. Twenty-two bills to strengthen Michigan’s equal pay laws will be introduced that day. After a box lunch, we will visit targeted legislative offices to distribute information about Michigan’s pay gap and how legislation could help to narrow it.
