Organizer Training 101

The Ypsilanti Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) is hosting Organizer Training 101: How to Build the Committee.
This is a training for those interested in learning more about Solidarity Unionism and how to effectively organize in your workplace, with your fellow workers, around your collective demands -- and get them met through Direct Action!

It is a two day training with hours as follows:
Saturday, November 3rd 9am-5pm
Sunday, November 4th 10am-5pm

Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. Housing and Childcare are also being organized for those that need it.
The registration fee is $20 and can be paid in person, at the training, with cash or debit/credit card.

This event is open to the public and people in all trades/industries! IWW card holders will be given priority registration. Exact location and parking information will be sent to all registrants prior to the training.

***PLEASE NOTE: There is another Organizer Training taking place November 17th & 18th that will focus on workers in the Restaurant, Hotel and Building Service Industry. Ifn you are in that industry, we highly encourage you to attend that training.
