Pilar's Stands with Immigrants & Refugees

Date:
Sun, Sep 8, 2019 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm

City:

Join us at a community benefit dinner for four amazing nonprofits here in Washtenaw County: Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, WICIR Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights, Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary, and Michigan Support Circle. These organizations provide vital services to the immigrant and refugee community.

Ticket price includes food by Pilar's Tamales, entrance in a giveaway for a basket of goods from local merchants, and live music by Detroit artist Vespre with opening act George Montrelle. The event also features a silent auction with stunning items from local vendors and artisans including Bløm Meadworks, Motawi Tileworks, The Lunch Room, Kaizen Healing Arts, Privateer Riding Academy, and more.

For donations above the cost of admission, take a whack at the piñata or craft your own bouquet with fresh local flowers from Community Farm of Ann Arbor and Raindance Organic Farm.

Shop art canvases, magnets, and colorful recycled earrings from our partner Women Supporting Women. All proceeds will benefit our cause, and the initial purchase of the items helps create a livelihood for women in Belize.

Tickets are $45/adults; $12/kids under 12 and are available to purchase in person at Pilar's Tamales (cash or check) and online at https://www.pilarsfoundation.org/buy-tickets.
