Teach-In & Potluck: Racial Profiling

Thu, Jul 26, 2018 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Since the launch of Aman Zones in April, Take on Hate has had over 500 conversations with community members on how racism impacts them. The results so far have shown that racial profiling is one of the issues that people are most impacted by and willing to fight. Join us for this teach-in and discussion on racial profiling in our community.

About Aman Zones: Rooted in the Arabic word, aman, or safety, “Aman Zones” is an ongoing project that works with our local communities to create a collective commitment to end hate and discrimination. Our goal in this project is to hear from YOU and the issues you want to address. Your feedback will allow us to work with the community in strategizing how to promote local, structural and cultural shifts for transformative social change.
