A Season For Solidarity!

This holiday season, support incarcerated folks by joining us for Season of Solidarity!

This is an event to bring light to issues and love to targeted and incarcerated people including activists, LGBT prisoners and survivor/victims of domestic violence, especially those of color. You will also have a chance to meet and share with members of the community, eat great food and get educated on mass incarceration.

There will be letter writing tables, merch, arts n' crafts, teach ins, zines and other informational materials to take home and food!

Planned Parenthood 101

Rapid Response Training

Know Your Rights for Protests with the National Lawyers Guild

But Is You Woke, Doe?

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History presents "But is You Woke, Doe?," the second of three programs in the series "For Us By Us." This event is a youth-led interactive activity to gauge how "woke" you are to today’s societal norms. Through a simulation, dialogue, and informative facts of our legal rights, the issues and micro aggressive nuances experienced by marginalized group will be discussed.

This program series is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts.
