as some of you may know we have recently returned from the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in North Dakota volunteering with the Sacred Stone Camp.

We will be presenting some footage from our experience at Standing Rock and help present some issues being faced there and also explain some of the reasons we believe this to be a pivitol moment for Indigenous culture standing up for our Mother Earth & giving solidarity to our movement across the entire globe.

Hearing Voices Network of Ann Arbor again hosts HEALING VOICES, a unique documentary
with a different view of what we call mental illness.  The film features interviews
with psychotherapists and activists recovered from psychosis, as well as prominent
researchers who study innovative approaches to healing from extreme distress.  The
film also follows three people - Oryx, Jen, and Dan - as they deal with the challenges
of coping with psychological crisis outside the standard treatment system.

This documentary-in-progress follows residents, activists, and the United Nations as they fight for the human right to water. Featuring the work of We the People of Detroit, Detroiters Resisting Emergency Management, Michigan Welfare Rights Organization (MWRO), members of the Homrich 9 and many others.
