On Saturday, May 6th, please join us for our May WCDP General Membership Meeting’s Program on the topic of Gerrymandering in Michigan: Analysis of the Problem and Alternative Approaches Now Under Consideration.

Susan Smith, Vice President of the Michigan League of Women Voters, will talk about the problem of gerrymandering, the LWV’s position on redistricting, and its work on the issue. She will describe what the League of Women Voters has learned from redistricting efforts in other states, and the important questions that have arisen in discussing similar efforts in Michigan.

Youth Justice Leadership Conference

All are welcome. No RSVP required. Meetings are bi-weekly through summer, and will resume their weekly schedule in the fall. Events and volunteer opportunities are sure to arise, however!

Activist meetings will consist of event planning, occasional training, and some administrative tasks as necessary.
