The main audience of this training is People's Water Board organizations and their members but open to all -- learning to FOIA is a helpful skill to have in your organizing toolbox for whatever work you're engaged in.

Mid Michigan Movement Politics Campaign Deep Dive

Date:
Sat, Apr 21, 2018 - 10:00am to Sun, Apr 22, 2018 - 6:00pm

Over the last 50 years, the Right has achieved near total control of our political system. In its most recent iterations it has moved toward Fascism. We now know that the incremental business as usual politics is ill-equipped to face this threat. And we know deep in our hearts that the time is right to take governing power for the 99%. To do this effectively, we need a new kind of politics: we call it movement politics.
