Youth Activist Camp

Join DAYUM for our first annual Youth Activist Camp! We will be focusing on skills for Nonviolent Direct Action - including blockades, walkouts, symbolic protests, and meeting disruptions. We'll also learn how to stay safe when participating in protest, how to write an effective press release, and how to stand up to adults who question your leadership.

Scout's Hollow is a rural campsite - meaning we will be sleeping in sleeping bags and tents! DAYUM will provide everything you need to camp, including tents and food.

Vigil to Abolish ICE in Kent County

Everyday we are hearing news about all the atrocities and human rights violations happening to immigrants at the US/Mexican border, which are injustices being perpetrated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. We know that ICE agents are doing harm on a weekly basis here in Kent County, separating families and detaining people for no other reason than they are undocumented or because they are driving without a license.
