People's Commission on Ending the Contract with ICE

We have shirts now, and can create a strong presence in the Kent Dems Meetings because those that are coming out of fear of the current administration. We can grow our numbers right there at that meeting. Bring a friend along and meet some awesome progressives.

Musicians & Artists Against Deportation: Busking for Demba

Join us on Friday, August 10th, in downtown Ann Arbor to raise money for Ann Arbor resident Demba Bagayoko's deportation defense campaign.

If you are a musician or artist we need you! We plan to "busk for a cause" on Main Street. 100% of proceeds will go to pay for Demba's legal defense.

Bring your instruments, your easels, or just draw with our chalk to raise money to keep our friend in Ann Arbor.

Non-artsy types are welcome to help out too!

Marquette’s Climate March is hosted by the Northern Climate Network, and is one of thousands of marches across the globe on September 8th. The marches are part of the People’s Climate Movement.

The People’s Climate Movement grew out of the largest climate march in US history in New York in September 2014. The Northern Climate Network and students at NMU hosted Marquette’s first climate march in 2014.
