This session we're going to do a "walk-and-talk". The DDA is considering several street projects on William, First, Ashley, and Huron; so we'll meet at Blake and walk in a circle, talking about the proposed changes and where you think the challenges and opportunities may be. Bring these and any other DDA questions you may have, and we'll take a mosey around downtown Ann Arbor as we talk. Kids, dogs, and folks of all ability levels welcome!

March in Solidarity with National Prisoner Strike

The strikers are demanding an end to prison slavery in addition to other demands (see below for more details on specific demands). To support the strikers inside, we are organizing this march downtown Lansing to
1. draw attention to the national demands of the prisoners
2. demand no retaliation against participating prisoners in Michigan

In 2010, one of the largest inland oil spills in US history impacted Kalamazoo County when Enbridge’s Line 6B ruptured, spewing nearly 1 million gallons of oil into the Kalamazoo River. People were forced to evacuate their homes, jobs were lost, ecosystems were destroyed, and the safety of our water was threatened.
