Over the last 50 years, the Right has achieved near total control of our political system. In its most recent iterations it has moved toward Fascism. We now know that the incremental business as usual politics is ill-equipped to face this threat. And we know deep in our hearts that the time is right to take governing power for the 99%. To do this effectively, we need a new kind of politics: we call it movement politics.

Over the past year, we have seen an alarming increase in hate crimes and attacks against immigrant, Muslim, LGBTQ+, and other vulnerable populations in our communities, as well as across the country. Have you asked yourself, “What could I have done if I were there?” Have you witnessed someone being harassed, but were stifled or frozen by fear and didn’t know what to do?
