Nearly 200 people (including 8 from Michigan and 4 from Ypsilanti) are facing 75 years in prison for protesting Trump on inauguration day. The only evidence against them was their mass arrest. They were never told to disperse, but were kettled, projectile pepper sprayed, and hoarded into police vans.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066 signed by President Roosevelt that was responsible for Japanese internment camps during WWII.

The town hall will feature leaders from the Japanese, Arab and Muslim American communities. Panelists will discuss the impacts of discriminatory executive orders on their communities.
