We'll munch a bit, watch the livestream video from Traverse City Opera House to get the latest update on Line 5, and talk with each other about the actions we can all take to shut this pipeline down before it makes Pure Michigan putrid.

April 23, 2018, marks the 65th anniversary of Enbridge’s easement that allows them to operate two pipelines, collectively known as Line 5, in the Straits of Mackinac.

It's time for Line 5 to retire. These pipelines were estimated to last 50 years yet, they are currently shipping 23 MILLION gallons of oil & gas through the Great Lakes everyday. Line 5 is a major threat to the drinking water of 35 million people and enough is enough.
