In observation of National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week 2019, WHA will be hosting a State of Homelessness event on Wednesday, November 13th.

You'll learn about Washtenaw County's homeless system of care, hear updates about our community's plan to end homelessness, and hear the most current data on homelessness in the county. You'll also hear stories from those with lived homelessness experience and learn about the different programs and partner agencies that make up our county's homeless response system.

How Housing Changed My Life

Without services from federally funded programs, these individuals may not receive the support they need to access housing. Burners without Borders Detroit Community Potluck Dinner 2016

BWB Detroit has been hosting a community dinner for the last what 4 years now...and we are excited to be doing it again for 2016. This is the time of year where we remember that the importance of breaking bread with loved ones and strangers is who we create bonds and build relationships.

This is also the time of year BWB Detroit is in full speed for raising awareness of the homeless issue in Detroit and collecting items to help them out with our Homeless Backpack Project.
