Protect Saheeda Action Day

Join other advocates for Ms. Saheeda Nadeem in a day of advocacy for immigration reform. We will gather at First Congregational Church at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, and caravan to Lansing where we will park at a sister church and walk ten blocks to the Capitol. Beginning at 12:30 pm, we will join efforts with citizens from across Michigan who share our concern for immigration reform.

A sign-making pizza party will be held on Monday, May 21 at 6:00 pm.

Pilgrimage to Keep Families Together

Come join Michigan United, the Latinx Student Association, the Rranxburgaj Family Sanctuary Campaign, the Nadeem Family Sanctuary Campaign, ABISA (African Bureau of Immigration & Social Affairs), and Action of Greater Lansing to help keep immigrant families together! The pilgrimage will take place over a week, starting on May 14th at the Central Methodist Church in Detroit and ending on May 22nd at the Lansing State Capital. At our different stops we welcome people impacted by deportation to tell their story and all attendees to take action to stop deportations!
