In honor of World Refugee Day, Washtenaw Refugee Welcome is organizing a community potluck and get-together. Help us celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of our new community members. All you need to do is bring a blanket/lawn chairs and a dish to pass around. Feel free to bring instruments and games as well. ALL are invited: our refugee neighbors, volunteers, general community members, etc will all be in attendance.

DETROIT – Local Muslim, Christian and community groups in Detroit and Dearborn have created a new coalition which works on protecting and preserving freedoms and human rights and supports refugee and immigrant families seeking safety from war, deportation and bigotry.
