Solarize Meridian Presentation

Date:
Thu, Apr 26, 2018 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

City:

Meridian Township has a goal of obtaining 25% of our electricity from renewable energy by 2025. To make it easier to install a PV system, the Meridian Energy Team has identified twelve solar installers that have offered to provide a rooftop solar electric system for $3/watt or less. A 4000 watt system would cost $12,000 before credits. Presentations will be provided by a Meridian resident who currently owns a solar system and volunteers from the Meridian Energy Team.

Beyond Coal - November General Meeting

Date:
Tue, Nov 28, 2017 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

City:

This month’s theme is energy justice. As DTE Energy prepares to raise ALL our rates and build a natural gas plant, we’re planning to make sure environmental justice and communities of color are heard in the process. These communities often spend more on their energy bills than others and will bear the most impacts of climate change. Renewable energy is the only path forward to ensure long-term success and affordability.

Also on the agenda: meeting with our local representatives, updates on cities moving to 100% renewable energy (including an exciting update), and much more!

Beyond Coal Office: 2550 Hilton, Ferndale Michigan 48220 US
