Michigan Equal Pay Legislative Day is being held in Lansing on April 25. (The Michigan Legislature is on spring break on national Equal Pay Day, April 4.) An Issues Briefing and luncheon begins at 9:30 a.m. (registration required) at the Central United Methodist Church, 215 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing (corner of Capitol and Ottawa) right across from the Capitol Building. A rally on the Capitol steps will begin at 12:30 p.m. (no registration required) featuring legislative and other speakers.

8th Annual Take Back the Night

Join us for our 8th annual Take Back the Night! Our rally this year will include statistics, survivor stories, spoken word, and more! We will then march through downtown Flint to stand in solidarity with survivors and take a public stand against violence. We will end with a reception and an art exhibit of survivor and activist created art from Anti-Violence Art Night.

Light refreshments will be served during the reception.

Co-sponsored by the Ellen Bommarito LGBTQ Center and Student Government at The University of Michigan-Flint.
