CCL Grand Rapids Monthly Meeting - Healing the Great Divide

Date:
Thu, Sep 19, 2019 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

This month we will be "at home" for a casual meeting. For those new to CCL, we will spend a little time talking about how we are organized and where you might find a place to fit in. Then we will follow the theme of our national program for September and have a discussion about why we are so divided and what we can do about it. We would love to hear your thoughts on this important topic!

Grand Rapids Townhall

Date:
Mon, Jul 29, 2019 - 5:00pm to 6:30pm

In March, Governor Whitmer unveiled her proposed budget. It included a $507 million funding increase for schools, with a focus on students in special education and in poverty.

NOW WHAT???!!

The proposed budget has to go through a complicated process in the Legislature, and we will have to fight to get that funding increase through.

So, join us at this town hall near you for a breakdown of what's been proposed, what we still need, and how we can win it all. You'll leave with your own action plan to make a difference.
