Kalamazoo Activist Night: DIY Menstrual Pad Workshop

Date:
Wed, Apr 10, 2019 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

City:

Join Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan for a FREE workshop on DIY Cloth Pads. We are so excited to share this work with our supporters.

This project is all about making a tangible difference! We will do a short presentation about period poverty and lack of access to menstrual products in communities experiencing homelessness followed by an action project where participants will make cloth pads to be donated to a local community organization. Participants will leave knowing how to make cloth pads and with helpful handouts so that they can continue to facilitate this advocacy project!

Materials needed for the project will be provided; however, if you wish to bring your own sewing machine and materials you are more than welcome to. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. All are welcome, please RSVP using the ticket link provided or HERE: https://bit.ly/2FteYJM
