W PPC Open Meeting

Open meeting to present the outcomes of our Moral Fusion Summit and to discuss the merits of organizing a "Good Citizen" campaign focused on challenging the policies and practices of the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University (the two largest employers in our county) around employment discrimination against those with criminal charges convictions, global warming (carbon reduction), and affordable housing. We hope you will join us! Read on for further details:

Fried chicken and beverages will be provided for whom life makes this difficult. However, please bring a dish to share if you are able.

We will review the Washtenaw PPC Moral Agenda document produced from the recommendations of participants at the Moral Fusion Summit held January 26, 2019.

The Washtenaw PPC is also organizing an advisory circle to provide feedback and make recommendations to the Steering Committee and general membership about the direction of the Washtenaw PPC. The first preliminary discussion of the advisory circle is Thursday, August 22nd, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Brown Chapel 1043 West Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti, 48197.
