Across the country, abortion rights are under attack. Ignited by the belief that a conservative majority on the Supreme Court represents an opportunity to overturn Roe v. Wade, state legislatures are passing unconstitutional laws that restrict access to abortion. In some cases, the laws ban abortion outright in an effort to force the court to revisit Roe v. Wade. In others, they’re meant to make it so hard for someone to access abortion that it won’t matter whether Roe stands or not.

Date:
Tue, Jul 30, 2019 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

If you've ever wanted to know more about unions or wondered what that IWW is about, now's your chance to meet some Ypsi Wobs and learn more about the IWW does! Or maybe you’re familiar and just want to hang with like minds - either way we’ll have some folks talking about workplace union organizing, tenant union organizing, worker power, and how the IWW organizes.

We’re meeting at the Corner brewery (on Forest in Ypsi) and we’ll be hanging out for a couple hours. Come get a beer (or ginger ale), see what the IWW has been up to and hang with fellow workers!
